Teaching the Benefits of Dental Health

Happy National Children’s Dental Health Month!

Dr. Quynh-Chi Nguyen and the staff of Paradise Smiles took on a local classroom full of preschool aged children to educate them on healthy hygiene. Armed with goodie bags with tooth brush and tooth paste for each child, we continued our mission to spread hygiene awareness to our community’s youth. It’s always fun to learn how to brush like a big kid with the Awesome Alligator!

We are proud to say these kids understand what they can do on their part to prevent cavities. The children actively participated and thoroughly enjoyed their time with Dr. Nguyen and her staff while learning about the benefits of dental care.

Preventing Cavities in Children

At Paradise Smiles in Chantilly, VA, Dr. Quynh-Chi Nguyen and her staff welcome young patients and take the time to teach them proper brushing and flossing skills to help them maintain a clean and healthy smile between routine preventive care visits. Learning a good at home oral hygiene routine early can play an important role in maintaining good dental health for a lifetime. Dr. Nguyen recommends that children begin visiting her Northern Virginia dentist office around the age of 3, when all primary teeth have erupted.

Dental cavities are as common in children as they are in adults, and their oral health can benefit from a healthy diet, routine dental care and a daily oral hygiene routine.

Dr. Nguyen offers dental sealants, custom sports mouth guards and the general, cosmetic and restorative dental services a growing family needs to keep everyone smiling comfortably.
